I’ve gone through three vacuum cleaners in a two years and have spent thousands. Additionally, one vacuum cleaner was so heavy, it caused me back pain.

Wikipedia states that air watt suction, can be different by 50%, (because air watt of motor, or air watt at end of the hose), but wiki states suction in (kpa) is how powerful a vacuum cleaner is.
What is the highest suction (kpa) bagless vacuum cleaner out there? thanks

I bought a Dirt Devil automatic pool vacuum, hooked it up my hose, and the suction is too intense so it won’t move around. Am I doing something wrong? I paid $150 for it and haven’t used it once.
Thinking about selling it & getting a robot cleaner instead, but I’m afraid the suction might still [...]

it turns on, makes the noise, collects the dirt in the beginning of the tube but there is no suction to collect it all the way to the bag. anybody have any ideas about what i need to do or buy?

I have a dirt devil upright vacuum, and it does not seem to be sucking things up while i’m pushing it across the carpet. However, when i’m using the attatchment hose, i get plenty of suction power. Can this be repaired or should i invest in a new vacuum

When I use my vacuum the attachments work and the suction is fine, but when I sweep it doesn’t pick up fuzz and dirt etc. Why do you suppose that is? I plan on changing the bag to see if that helps at all. Any ideas as to what might be causing this problem?

I am looking to buy a new vacuum and I was thinking about purchasing the Dyson Animal but don’t really want to spend that much money, $499.99 retail price. I need a vacuum that can pick up pet hair well and that basically has good suction or possibly one with some kind of HEPA filter. [...]

I have always used hoover wind tunnels and have been satisfied with their performance…but the last 2 I had were not up to par. Only after a few months of use, they start falling apart.

1. Are they really better than any other vacuum cleaner on the market?
2. Does the performance justify the price?
3. How much maintenance do they need?
