I guess I’ve used the upright vacuum to clean up scattered litter more than I realized. When I turn on the vacuum, I smell the dreaded litter box odor, even after changing the bag. Is there a way to get rid of the smell? Is it the hose, maybe?

Get a Hoover Wind Tunnel that uses disposable bags. I have both a Dyson and a Wind tunnel and the Wind Tunnel still wins when it comes to cleaning well. They are under $200.00 too.
