What would you buy? Dirt Devil (Kone and Kurv are neat), Black & Decker, Oreck, Eurka, etc? So many brands, which is the best? Just going to be using it for around the house a little bit, maybe suck up some kitty litter. Somewhere around $30-40.

I’ve tried Bissell, and nothing works like my 14 yr old Dirt Devil. I cannot get filters for that anymore tho……I want something that doesn’t kick sand up on my feet, I NEED SUCTION. Any ideas would be appreciated.

hi friends. I bought Eureka Forbes vacuum cleaner 6yrs back. I’m not using it because of its robust structure and lot of attachments that are not necessary for Indian environment. Please suggest me a light weight vaccum cleaner that serves purpose for Indian homes and cleans hard floor too.

Wikipedia states that air watt suction, can be different by 50%, (because air watt of motor, or air watt at end of the hose), but wiki states suction in (kpa) is how powerful a vacuum cleaner is.
What is the highest suction (kpa) bagless vacuum cleaner out there? thanks

I am looking to get a vacuum cleaner, preferably baggless, and preferably under 200. I have hard wood floors, one area rug, a few fully carpeted areas, and some couches I would like to keep clean with it. Which brand and type of vacuum would you recommend?

My dirt devil upright vacuum doesn’t suck, and what it does suck up it spits right out the back.
It’s not a very good vacuum, and it makes my house smell like dog hair every time I use it (even though my dog himself doesn’t smell, must just be the old hair stuck in the filter [...]

This is what I think:
Space is like,.. the air in a vacuum cleaner bag. Say the air is space and all the little dust particles/rocks, etc are planets, stars, rocks in the sky, etc. Well. The air in the vacuum is um,… in the vacuum bag.
So. What is space in?? It HAS to be something.

In Chicago airport, I noticed the custodial sweeping the carpet with this stick thing, which required no electricity. It seemed as effective as a vacuum cleaner. What is it called and where can I get one?

I have 2 cats and 1 small dog and 2 children. So we get the pet stains, and the kids with their markers or glitter glue stuff. We made the mistake of getting a very light colored carpet and it shows everything!

grandchildren put vacuum cleaner paper bag full of dust down the toilet
to have professionals to do this job would be very exspencive

I have long hair
1 cat and 1 dog (both got lots of hair)
Carpet and tile floor
light and easy for storage
