Preferably less than 100 bucks, something that will likely work for a while, and has low maintenance costs (i.e. don’t have to buy 30 dollar filters every 2 months).
My cleaning surfaces is a small room carpet and the kitchen tile floor.

My hair is always getting caught in the spinning brush thingie of my vacuum cleaner. It drives me nuts because I keep having to stop and get in their with scissors to deal with the tangles of matted hair and carpet lint. Please tell me there’s a better kind out there?

It’s bagless vacuum. I’ve emptied it, checked both the filters, and cleaned everything I can get to. I think there might be some compartment I don’t know about, but I can’t find anything online. There are literally CLOUDS of dust everywhere – it’s disgusting! Is there something I’m missing?

I have a Eureka Maxima vacuum cleaner. I absolutely cannot get it to suck. the hose isn’t clogged, it’s got a brand new bag in it, and there’s nothing visibly wrong with it that i can see. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong with it, your help would be greatly appreciated!

We have only extremely short-pile carpets in our apartment, and our last vacuum (a dust devil) had difficulty cleaning them properly. Any advice as to a vacuum cleaner that would work well on these kinds of rugs?

I have gone through 2 Hover’s that broke and 2 Eureka Boss vacuums in 2 years. The Eureka’s worked 2-3 times and just quit.
I have very long hair, and birds for pets but no really unusual situations, just crummy products. There has to be a really GREAT one out there.
