It’s bagless vacuum. I’ve emptied it, checked both the filters, and cleaned everything I can get to. I think there might be some compartment I don’t know about, but I can’t find anything online. There are literally CLOUDS of dust everywhere – it’s disgusting! Is there something I’m missing?

I have a Eureka Maxima vacuum cleaner. I absolutely cannot get it to suck. the hose isn’t clogged, it’s got a brand new bag in it, and there’s nothing visibly wrong with it that i can see. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong with it, your help would be greatly appreciated!

My dirt devil upright vacuum doesn’t suck, and what it does suck up it spits right out the back.
It’s not a very good vacuum, and it makes my house smell like dog hair every time I use it (even though my dog himself doesn’t smell, must just be the old hair stuck in the filter [...]
It does not have good suction and smells like burning rubber. I have cleaned all the filters and see no clog. Also, the belt is still working and the brushes are turning.
It is a Hoover upright and after so long it cuts out…if you leave it it comes back on!!! I’ve checked the fault finder in the manual and it hasn’t helped…I’m assuming it’s overheating for some reason and I’ve lost my guarantee!!!
Basically was using it and it appeared to start slowing down (the engine). I turned it off, then on again, and it simply does not work. I have tried a different fuse but to no avail. Does anyone know whats wrong and whether or not I can fix it?

I have an AEG smart 485.
At the supermarket I could not find a filter bag with the name of my vacuum cleaner on it. So I picked just one that works for other machines of the same brand: the Swirl PH86.
Later I discovered, that the swirl homepage suggests the Y204 filter bag.
